Among the developments that will bring us this new version of HTML, we have the emergence of new labels, which have article, footer, canvas, etc.. First there was YouTube and DailyMotion without using flash, to show your videos, thanks to the revolutionary video label.

The web developer Nieto published an article on his blog where he makes reference to these new structures, such as:

  • article : New tag to define blocks of content that match items.
  • section :Definition of a section of the site.
  • dialog:Tag set for dialogues and discussions among various people.
  • Video And Audio: to include elements of video and audio. An example can be seen on the Youtube version of HTML5 in which we mentioned earlier.
  • footer: Part of the web where you can go about the author, license, conditions … all that kind of detail that is usually affixed to the bottom of the web.
  • canvas : Space for graphics at the time of viewing the web.
  • time: Information on times or dates.
  • command: Command to display the user can run.
  • progress :Implementation of a progress bar while performing a task or process.
  • These items also contain certain tags and attributes that have all been improved, some of them removed and new attributes have been incorporated in the definition of HTML5.

We come to know that the meaning of this new structure is aimed at HTML codes to move forward together with the Web and the new meaning that he wants to, where they pass a simple match between content sought and found, and become a model that involves significant expressions, dialogues, sections, articles, etc..

To view the content of these sites who are implementing new code in your pages HTML 5 they need a browser to interpret these labels have not yet officially released, so they can make use of the Beta version of Firefox 3.5, Opera 4 or Safari.
